The Thai justice system seems to work on the premise of your guilty until prov-en Innocent. However, if you keep a low profile you can pretty much to do what ever you want. Though, I would still stay away from using street drugs, as if caught by some twist of fate you could be facing some dire consequences.





A few years ago the government embarked on a plan to eradicate illegal drug use from the kingdom. Not sure of the actual success but I believe over a 1000 people where killed resisting arrest or who committed suicide after being arrested. World pressure forced them to scale back the severity of their actions but they still take it damn seriously. what i went there a couple of years ago and that never happened to me or anyone i know for that matter. But i guess if you flash it around or tell people your doing drugs that will happen.





Anyone that does any drugs in Bangkok is pretty stupid though. If youre gonna do it, do it outside Bangkok, the rest of Thailand is more relaxed (but still dont flash it around).





If you get caught though it will cost you around 拢1000 bribe ($1500) or a stint in a thai prison - i know i would be on the way to the cash point pretty quickly
