In 1,000 samples, assuming that H0 is true, how many times would you expect to commit Type I error if (a) 伪 =?

Need help to understand what I need to writeIn 1,000 samples, assuming that H0 is true, how many times would you expect to commit Type I error if (a) 伪 =?
hmmm.. i'm not sure i get what you're saying here

but basically, if Ho is true, you would falsely reject it 伪 times (as percent) out of 100

but the thing is, you can pick whatever 伪 level you want.. the most common are .1, .05, and .01

so if you have an alpha level (伪) of .05, you will (on average) incorrectly reject the null (Ho) hypotheses 5 times out of 100 trials. so it would be 50 out of 1000..

but it all depends on the initial alpha level that you set..
