Is it true they are fingerprinting and taking DNA samples at libraries these days?

Not sure if its just when you commit an offence like keep a book overdue or something.Is it true they are fingerprinting and taking DNA samples at libraries these days?
no that is not true, you only get finger printed and dna samples are taken in criminal offences such as murder offences and finger prints are only done when you are charged with an ofence with in police presenceIs it true they are fingerprinting and taking DNA samples at libraries these days?

If you keep a book out W-A-Y too long, don't pay the fines on it, and a warrant is issued for your arrest, you might be fingerprinted when you're booked, but I don't think the cops will take a DNA sample unless they actually need one.





Besides, fingerprinting and DNA sampling are carried out at a police station, not at a library.
